In the study area proved the existence of time clear contrast to this phenomenon. As proved by the trend line that the value of coefficient of increase temperatures rates were varied from month to month but the increase was more months of March, which amounted to a trend line towards the 0.1077 and so this was the most warmest month between months. The amount of water consumed by the rice crop by separating growth was increasingly are other progress-year study period, in line with the warming phenomenon. The month of June was the first month of the separation of rice crop growth in terms of water consumption rising trend line value of about 0.668. And statistically proven that the Pearson correlation coefficient was strong and months, the whole growing season. Which indicates that the water consumption linked to the phenomenon of warming power during the years 1981 to 2010 period. The strength of the correlation coefficient varied from month to month, and it was less closely months is about the month of July 0911. The strongest month in association coefficient was the month of April, as it was about 0996. In applying the test (t) the results indicate that the values of (t) calculated over the value (t) Indexed for months separating all rice crop growth without exception. The R2 value indicates the high value of warming and its role as head of an influential increase in water consumption during the study period, with the decline in the value of the amount of the contribution of other factors statistically.

Challenges of Social Tourist Development Karbala as a Sample

journal of kerbala university, 2016, Volume 12, Issue 1, Pages 73-85

For thousands of years, palm cultivation is one of the oldest plantations in the world , specifically, in the land of Mesopotamia. It constitutes about one third of Iraq's economy in the past. In fact, Iraq relies on oil industry as a main resource for its economy, secondly agriculture, and thirdly industrial sector . However, later in 2001, it has been thought that tourism can be invested as it effectively promotes economy by directing efforts towards the development of this sector like many countries which are known for their complete reliance on tourist imports which are approximately estimated at (7% - 9 %).
The concept of Rural Tourism is obviously absent in Iraqi society, in general, and in Karbala community , in particular. Karbala has some wonderful sceneries and sights which present tranquility, spiritual peace, serenity, comfort, and recreation; away from the hustle of the city. Accordingly, the countryside can be transformed into a range for the activation of Agri-Tourism, Leisure Tourism, and Aquatic Tourism as well. Because of these qualifications that are found near streams, the tourists enjoy their time and have fun where they can roam across canoes and a small boat that is called (almashahav). It is also possible to encourage river fishing besides Hunting tourism , including, bird hunting. Moreover, roads are made for linking orchards and facilitating transport , consequently, the costs of projects and even the traffic jams will be reduced , especially, on the days of million visitors in this holy city.
Many of these orchards are considered to be useful for they preserve the natural and national treasures that help the development of several agricultural businesses, tourist economics, and cultural customs. Such places also help publish economic and local community traditions, in addition to raise the cultural consciousness where a direct contact is made with the tourist and the visitor to these areas. So, they end with increasing the economic and cultural value of the country as a whole. The research has concluded that taking a model of a small mill project to produce molasses will be helpful for calculating the processes of production and consumption besides the marketing of goods that are made of palm trees, which are regarded as one of many basic valuable nourishment materials for man, not to mention that Iraqi dates are looked at as a competitor for the rest of all types of dates, both globally and in the Arab world.

The Pectashi Sufis sect was characterized by its shiism and their great love to the holy prophet ( pbuhe progeny ) and his progeny (pbuth) which was substantiated through the Sufis thoughts and traditions and customs .
The study tackled the Pactashi sect from its emergence at the hand of haj Pectash in the seventh century of Hejera – the thirteenth century anno domino .
The attempt of the Ottomans reign to put an end to it in the thirteenth century A.H. – the nineteenth century A.D. The way how that sect spread reaching to Iraq was clearly shown where samples of the Pectashi hospices were sen with in different cities especially the cities of the holy shrines of Ahlul-Bait Imams (pbuth) in holy Karbala and holy Najaf cities .
Within two sections , the study showed all that was related to that sect regarding their rituals and the nature of their social and economic status and also their position and rank in the Ottomans authority ; the study showed that they assisted the Turkish army at first and then became the major players in the Turkish policy as they had the power of nominating and deposing the Ottomans sultans and ministers .
Section one tackled the emergence of the Pectashi sect till its decline and not permitting people to join it within the borders of the Ottomans state and its colonies from the official side .However , it continued inspite of that prevention but with less style as was the case in Iraq .
This section also showed the nature of the Sufism sect and their way of thinking and their traditions in generad and then the Pectashi Sufism thinking , tradition and customs in particular .
Section two dealt with the nature and method of desiging and constructing the Pectashi hospices starting from some of the Islamic cities chronologically ordered passing by Baghdad and then extensively talking about their hospices in holy Karbala and holy Najaf cities due to the significance , this subject had in showing some (part) of the cultural a spect and the meeting together of the Islamic cultures and their being mixed in small districts represented by the holy shrines . The paper also showed that the Islamic nation – inspite of the attempts of discrimination and disruption which some tried and would try to plant and spread among its sects – but it is still unified and still the matter goes beyond this as the Islamic religion and the Ahlul – Bait's (pbuth) doctrine at the hand of haj Pectash , the founder of the Pectash sect ( way of thinking) , attracted lots of the Eurpean Christians to become Muslims due to the spiritual satisfaction , forgiveness and love they saw in it as the study clarified .

A linguistic Analysis of Book Reviews in English with Reference to Two Reviews on Crystal's: Txtng: the Gr8 Db8

Besma Khalid Ingaish

journal of kerbala university, 2016, Volume 12, Issue 1, Pages 1-11

A book review presents a summary of what the author of the book wants to say. Reviewers state their opinions about the book at hand and attempt to evaluate and assess the book in terms of the recent developments of the particular field which the book tackles.
The problem of this paper will address the question of what linguistic structures and rhetorical moves are employed in the two book reviews on Crystal's Txtng.
It is hypothesized that moves are stable but sub-functions are not
The aim of this paper is to analyze two such reviews. The two reviews are about the same book which deals with the ongoing sociolinguistic phenomenon of texting via cellphones. The title of the book itself is written in this style of communication: Txng: the Gr8 Db8 by the prominent linguist David Crystal.
The paper discusses these reviews which are written by Tagg (2008) and Carston (2008) in terms of their rhetorical moves and linguistic features. A model proposed by Motta-Roth (1998) is applied to these reviews.
The analysis has revealed that sub-functions are subject to variation in comparison with the moves which are fixed. These variations in the sub-functions depend on how the reviewer deals with the book.

Creative chaos theory: Devote the chaos and the dismantling of the State Iraq after the 2003 model)

journal of kerbala university, 2016, Volume 12, Issue 1, Pages 191-211

The Creative Chaos Theory which embodied the US foreign policy in the Middle East since the beginning of the second millennium has not been the cause of the destruction of some countries in the region, as some believe, so we cannot be attributed the disintegration of Iraq and devote the chaos after 2003 to the American creative chaos theory insofar as the Iraqi political forces and parties has a direct cause of the disintegration of the state and the consecration of chaos and politicization of institutions, due to their political rivalries and incompatibility among them, and so it causing a sectarian war and political conflict, which it cause later on spreading chaos and the dismantling of internal and external structure of the Iraqi state. And then, the sectarianism, and quotas, and the absence of the Constitution and the law, weakening the military establishment, and forming armed factions which working for outside, is the outcome of the Iraqi political forces conflict, then the chaos and the dismantling of the state is the natural result of that conflict.

Some of physical properties of xanthan cellulose gum (Xn) dissolves in distilled water had been studied at different concentrations (0.1, 0.2,…, 0.8)% g/mL before and after adding (0.25and 0.5) g of (TiO2) for all concentrations. The mechanical properties such as ultrasonic velocity has been measured by ultrasonic waves system at frequency( 25 kHz) and other mechanical properties have been calculated such as absorption coefficient of ultrasonic waves, relaxation time, relaxation amplitude, specific acoustic impedance, compressibility and bulk modules. The results show that all these properties are increase with the increasing of the polymer concentration except compressibility, also, the results show that when adding (TiO2) these properties are increasing except compressibility is decreasing. But adding (TiO2) to (Xn) enhances these properties.

Unsaturated polyester resin with fillers of kaolin samples were prepared by cast molding method for polyester with filler volume fractions (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%). The thermal conductivity constant, hardness, compression strength, porosity and density were studied. This experimental investigation is aimed at assessing the performance of polymeric insulators in high temperatures applications. Shore hardness tests were used to measure the hardness. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) to study the bonds which enhanced the insulating properties of polyester material compounded with filler. Polymer composites Exhibits a new UV- visible absorption band at a wavelength range (200 -375) nm, which is attributed to interchain interaction .The thermal conductivity constant, hardness decrease with filler content increase. The experimental results showed that the (20% kaolin) sample has the minimum value of thermal conductivity. The porosity and density increase with filler content increase therefore the thermal isolation increase. On the other hand (5% kaolin) sample give the maximum value of compression strength. The glass transition temperature, melting point and degree of crystallization decrease by adding kaolin.

journal of kerbala university, 2016, Volume 12, Issue 1, Pages 170-177

The improvement of sub-grade has always been significant aspect in highway and geotechnical engineering fields. To strengthen the subgrade soil, the use of natural Jute fiber is advantageous because they are cheap, locally available, and biodegradable. In this paper the soil sample was compacted at its maximum dry density corresponding to its optimum moisture content in the Laboratory California Bearing Ratio (CBR) mould with and without natural Jute fiber. Natural Jute fiber sheets equal to the plan of CBR mould diameter were placed at various layers (second, fourth and fifth of soil's layers) to investigate its behaviour on CBR value. The experimental investigations were also involved natural Jute fiber coated with bitumen material to study the effect of bitumen material on the CBR value. The CBR values of soil and soil reinforced with Jute fiber were investigated in the geotechnical engineering laboratory. The results of experimental investigation showed that the inclusion of Jute fiber sheet into the soil increases the CBR value of soil. It is also observed that the placing of Jute fiber at the second layer is more effective than placing it anywhere else in the soil sample; where the CBR value increased by 80% compared with unreinforced soil. The coating of Jute fiber has not shown significant improvement in CBR value; however, it can improve the Jute fiber longevity.
Key Words: Jute Fiber, Sub-grade Soil, CBR Test, Bitumen.

The work presents a numerical investigation of heat transfer characteristics of conical diffuser with specific dimensions, using internal spiral square rib, with air as the working fluid. The Reynolds number range based on the bulk flow rate and hydraulic diameter is 1.759 × 105 to 4.36 × 105. The conical diffuser was subjected to uniform rates of heat flux and different inlet air velocity(0.02, 0.04 and 0.06) m/s, respectively. Results show that the spiral square rib enhanced heat transfer for (ΔT=40, 38 and 35 K) corresponding to the different inlet air velocity .The data obtained were compared with plain (without rib). The cone with internal spiral square rib was found to possess the highest performance factors for turbulent flow. The heat transfer coefficient enhancement for internal spiral square rib is higher than that for plain cone for a given Reynolds number. The use of internal spiral square rib improved the performance of cone. All studies where carried out using FlUENT14.5 package, by using K-ɛ model.

Our results showed that PRP lowered excessive development of granulation tissue and showed wound healing at 1, 2 and 3 weeks after wounding based on the histopathological results, there were re- epithelialization of epidermis, complete healing which characterized by regular arrangement of profuse fibrosis and scattered inflammatory cells, formation of new blood vessels and profuse collagen and fibrosis when compared with control group. We conclude from the current study that the single application of PRP for the treatment of the movable and fixed cutaneous wounds has increased the healing rates and adequate formation of granulation tissue as well as enhance angiogenesis in the beginning stage of the repair process.

Merging implicit and explicit ratings model in recommendation systems

Huda Naji Nawaf; Intedhar Shakir Nasir

journal of kerbala university, 2016, Volume 12, Issue 1, Pages 254-260

This study intends to improve the recommendation system by unifying both the implicit and explicit behavior of users. The implicit behavior indicates what users view over time regardless of the rating of what he views (implicit rating), whereas, the explicit behavior in this effort refers to what users rate for an item. The hamming distance is used to create a distance matrix that is converted to similarity matrix for users who are akin in terms of implicit rating. As for explicit ratings, the cosine similarity is used to create similarity matrix for users who are similar in terms of the scale used to rate an item. The proposed method is evaluated using three data sets; Movielens, Hetrec 2011, and Yahoo! Movies. The evaluation of the proposed method constrains with the measures of the related works. Thus, recall, precision, mean absolute error (MAE), and F-measures have been used. The experimental results show that the proposed system has a good performance, particularly Movielens dataset, when compared with the existing works. Our proposed method is free of any complex computations; at the same time it is competitive as comparable and better results are obtained considering other works.
