Prepared thiosemicarbazide derivatives (SB1, SB2, SB3, SB4 and SB5) were investigated as corrosion inhibitors for mild steel in 1M H2SO4 solution by weight loss measurements, the inhibition efficiency increased by increasing the inhibitor concentration, and the inhibition efficiency orders are SB1 > SB5 > SB3 > SB2 > SB4 with the highest inhibiting efficiency of 95.39% for 10−3M. The values of Goads showed physisorption effect for (SB1, SB2, SB4 and SB5) and chemisorption effect for SB3. Semiempirical molecular orbital calculations for (SB1, SB2, SB3, SB4 and SB5) gave useful information to explain the interaction between the surface of metal and the organic molecules.

Detection of Brucella in infected bull testis by using PCR technique

Brucella infect male animals and cause orchitis and infertility, present study aimed to isolate brucella from testes of bull, 50 testes samples were collected then withdraw sample from epidedimys after that stained with modifiedziehl neelsen, samples were positive for stain were cultured on brucella selective media and tested with PCR. Results showed 6 samples were positive for modified ziehl neelsen , 4 samples were positive for culture and 6 samples were positive for PCR,from our research showed that PCR is more effective in diagnose Brucella infection.

Evaluation Of Using Glass Fiber On Properties Of Self-Compacting Concrete

This research aims to evaluate of using the glass fiber on the properties of fresh and hardened self compacting concrete (SCC).The work involves four mixes , the mix proportion of these mixes is(1:1.75:2),and water cement ratio is(0.4), superplasticizer of ( 5 ) % of cement content, limestone powder of (100Kg /m3) ,and glass fiber (0,1,3,5)% of mixes volume respectively .
Slumpflow, L-Box and V-funnel tests are using to determine the workability of all mixes, the values of slump flow are (710,680,655,615)mm, the values of t50cm are (2,3,3,5) second, the blocking ratio (H2/H1) values are (0.93, 0.87, 0.86, 0.82) and the flow time through the V-funnel are (6, 9, 11, 12) seconds respectively, the mechanical properties studied in this work are compressive strength with average value of six spacements are (28.6,29.2,29.8,31.5) , (47.3,48.7,51.3,54.7)N/mm2 of (7,28) day ages respectively , and splitting tensile strength with average values of six spacements are (4.1, 4.3,4.6,5.1) , (5.2,5.8,6.1,6.5)N/mm2 of (28,56) days ages respectively .
Flexural strength (Modulus Of Rupture)(MOR) was tested with average values of three spacements are (4.1,4.3,4.6,5.1) , (5.2,5.8,6.1,6.5)N/mm2 of (28,56) day ages, for glass fiber ratio of (0,1,3,5)% respectively .

This paper describes speed control of separately excited DC motor using Chopper as power converter and PI as speed and current controller. The separately excited DC motor can be controlled from below and up to rated speed . Optimization filter of speed is obtained using Modulus Hugging Approach . After obtaining the complete model of DC drive system, the model is simulated by MATLAB. The simulation is done and analyzed under varying speed and varying load torque conditions like rated speed and load torque, half the rated load torque and half speed .

Collectivity variations shape in the heavy 182-202Hg isotopes

The symmetry states structure of 182-202Hg isotopes has been studied using the interacting boson model (IBM-1) .The energy levels , the electromagnetic transitions probability B(E2) and potential energy surfaces are analyzed which reveal the detailed nature of nuclei. In this chain 182,186Hg nuclei have a pure harmonic vibrator characteristic with a0&a2 parameters equal to zero ,188,202Hg nuclei evolve from harmonic vibrator to gamma soft rotor with wobblea0/εratio ascent and descent in the first Three isotopes then steady as straight line in the last five isotopes.
The predicted theoretical calculations were compared with the experimental data in respective figures and tables ,it was seen that the predicted results are in a good agreement with the experimental data.
In the framework of IBM calculations (46) new energy levels were determined for even -even 182-202Hg isotopes .This investigation increases the theoretical Knowledge of all isotopes with respect to energy levels ,reduced transition probabilities and potential energy surfaces.

Study of lymphocyte transformation response (LyTR) by using PHA, Con A and Pokeweed mitogens in children infected with Norovirus

The mitogens phytohaemagglutinin (PHA), concanavalin A (con A) and pokeweed mitogen (PWM) are good examples of such agents . In this study we used The heparinized blood from each of the 45 sample was examined for immuno-suppressive activity.
peripheral blood lymphocytes stimulated with phytohemagglutin mitogen ( 100 ,150,250 µg/ml) , Concanavalin A mitogen (150 µg/ml) and Pokeweed mitogen PWM (150,300 µg/ml ) were severely reduced in acute infantile diarrhea with Norovirus Infection in comparing with acute infantile diarrhea without Norovirus Infection and control group . acute phase heparinized blood appears to block initial steps in lymphocyte transformation.

Design Simple Instructional Package of Arabic Language Learning for Non-Arabic Speakers

The Instructional package is a solution for learning needs and problems, it is used to simplify the learning to the user. In this paper, new instructional package was designed to learning arabic language for non-arabic speaker called ( Arabic School ). The designed package has more facilities for learning the components of Arabic language ,such as alphabet, numbers, seasons, directions, months, date, time and pronouns. As well as comments and explanations by examples and videos .It also has whiteboard and final examination to evaluate the learner answers, so performance of instructional package was more effective and more evident than in schools it is enjoyment of learning. This instruction is very useful to learn the arabic language without teacher. The proposed package was designed in HTML and Java language .

Detection of interleukin-6, interleukin-8 and gamma interferon in placentafrom aborted ewes infected withListeria monocytogenes

Hundred and ten aborted placentas were obtained from ewes and cultured directly,while other were fixed in formalinbuffer to study the effect of interlukin-6, interlukin-8 and gamma-IFNin pathogenesis of Listeria monocytogenes associated with placentitis in aborted ewes. Results showed eleven placenta samples from out 110 were positive for listeria culture,wereshowed high expression of IL-6, IL-8 and γ-IFNin aborted placenta infected with Listeria monocytogenes as a compared with non infected placentas.

Synthesis of Mg/Al- layered double hydroxides intercalated with rifampicin drug . To obtaining nanohybrid compounds. The method of ion exchange was used with different molar ratio Mg/Al=2,3,4,5, the resulted material was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT – IR) ,XRD (X-ray diffraction) the release profiles of the guest anion to phosphate ,sulphate aqueous media, the accumulated release in to phosphate more than sulphate. Release kinetics of Rifampicin has been evaluated with various models such as zeroth order, first order and pseudo- second order as well as Bhaskar equation. It is observed that the release profiles of Rifampicin were governed by pseudo second order. Additionally in this study, novel equations were used and applied for predicting the diffusion of guest anion through LDH nano hybrid particles and applied it for the Rifampicin. These equations were more suitable for diffusion than the previous equation like Bhaskar equation and it’s the most convenient.

Geophysical, Geotechnical and Geochemistry Investigation for The Area of Kerbela`s Cement Factory

Geophysical, Geotechnical and geochemical investigation was conducted. The samples of four boreholes were examined for classification and chemical test. In this study the surface Seismic Refraction profile showed three layers were distinguished light marl silty clayey sand with gravel, silty sand with fragment of carbonate rocks and the third layer consist of carbonate rocks. The seismic cross hole survey result showed that the fill material is non homogenous in thickness and in degree of compaction which resulted in different settlement, and the cavities and weak zones are located. .
From geotechnical and geochemical study , the types of soil is CL – ML , this indicates that the soil of studies area is mainly fine grained soil to coarse grained soil with a lens of very dense white marly limestone silty gravel with sand .The MC, IC, P.L,L.L are measured too.
The chemical properties of the soil of study area were investigated. The results showed that the percentages of sulphate as CaSo4.2H2O was(o.32– 2.1)% ,Organic matter was(0.0 )%,Carbonate was (39 - 94 )%, Chloride was (o,11 – 0.14 ) % respectively. PH of the soil was (7.4 – 7.9).

Modification of ultrasound cavitation effect induce changes in the cell redox functional activity by means of chemiluminescence.

The cavitation effect of ultrasound (U S) in vivo situation can be monitored in vitro by the changes in the redox activity of yeast cells using lucigenin dependent chemiluminescence (CL). This technique can be used to detect the cavitational harmful effects of different ultrasound frequencies used in medical diagnosis.CL of yeast cells is produced by excitation of lucigenin on the oxidative free radicals and hydrogen peroxide, in the suspension medium. The changes in the redox activity was monitored at different viscosities of the medium. The results suggest that increase in the viscosity of the suspension medium reduced the cavitational events. This appear clearly as the( % CL) decreases significantly(P<0.05) with decreasing the viscosity of the suspended medium equivalent to greater than(0.3gm/100ml).

Background Surgical extraction of third molars is often accompanied
by pain, swelling, trismus, and general oral dysfunction during the healing phase.Careful surgical technique and scrupulous preoperative care can minimize the frequency of complications and limit their severity.
Aims.was to investigate classification and most common complication of surgical extraction of impacted lower third molars.
Patients and methods.Eighty patients was treated 34 males and 46 females their age between (20-32) years, complaining of either pain ,badly carious lower 3rd molars , recurrent pericoronitis or cyst,The patients were gathered from January 2009 to July 2012.
Results.A total eighty patients had surgical extraction of lower third molars under local anesthesia during the period of study. The mean age of the patients was( 26) years range between(20- 32). Our results reveals that Mesioangulation was the most frequently (42.5%) followed by verticalangulation (26.25%), Distoangulation was (21.25%) and horizontal angulations was (10%).Conclusion. Surgical removal of impacted lower third molars was accompanied with post-operative complication especially infection and most frequency rate was associated with mesioangulation of impaction,

On the Probability Density Function of the Non-Central Distribution

In this paper, we consider the probability density function (pdf) of a non-central distribution with odd number of degrees of freedom n. This pdf is represented in the literature as an infinite sum. Kettani [10] presented two alternative expressions to this pdf. The first expression is in terms of the partial derivative of the hyperbolic cosine function and the second expression, on the other hand, is a finite sum representation of terms only instead of the infinite sum.
In this paper, we prove Theorem 3.4 that implies if m = 0 which introduced by Kettani [10].
Also, before the end section of this paper, we present four different theorems includes the pdf for the non-central distribution which are general recurrence relation for such pdf.

Clinical, Hematological and Therapeutical study of Puerperium Metritis in Holstein- Friesian Cows

This study was performed on 56 Holstein-Friesian cows suffered from puer perium metritis in large station of animals (Gbalah) In Babylon governorate during the period of Januarys 2011- August 2012, their ages range from 3-6 years and the post partum period was 20-30 day , these cows were divided randomly into three groups according to the type of treatment that used . 1stgroup 15 cows injected with 750 µg of PGF2α (Estrumate) I.M. one dose, 2nd group19 cows injected with 750 µg I.M. of PGF2α with 20 ml of Oxytetracyclin 20% I.M. in one dose, 3rd group 22 cows injected with 750 µg I.M. of PGF2α and 20 ml Pen-Strep I.M. in one dose (4 million i.u. of Penicillin mixed with 4 gm of Dehydrostrptomycine ).
The percentage of response animals were 73.2% (41/56) but The 2nd and 3rd group was significantly Superiors p<0.01 compared with 1st related with response to treatment while the Number. of services per conception was 3.02 ±0.72, 3.15± 0.43 in 1st and 2nd compared with 3rd group recorded 2.87 ± 0.36, the days open in group 3 recorded significantly p < 0.01 in compared with group 1 and group 2.
There is significant increase p < 0.01 in the values of the hematological picture in group 2 compared with group 1 before and after treatment. We concluded that good result in using of PGF2α alone but when using with antibiotics was highly effective in the treatment of perperium metritis in Holstein-Friesian cows.

A Selective Image Encryption Based on Chaos Algorithm

Selective encryption is a new trend in image and video content protection. It's aim to reduce the amount of data to protect while preserving a sufficient level of security by connected with chaotic theory. Due to their features of ergodicity, sensitivity to initial conditions, pseudo randomly, chaotic maps have good potential for information encryption. In this work, selective image encryption based on chaos algorithm has suggested, This technique adopted two main operations one to decorrelate the relationship between adjacent pixels of plain image which is based on 2D Chaotic Standard map and the other to decorrelate the relationship between the plain image and encrypted image which is based on 4D Chaotic Map. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is computationally secure, it withstands different types of attacks such as brute force attack, differential attack, chosen-plaintext and chosen-ciphertext attacks. Also, Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is suitable for multimedia application with real time operation. Where the average execution time is (1 second) when the encryption ratio is equal to (6.25 %).

Numerical Calculation of triple integrals with Continuous Integrands

The main aim of this research is to introduce a new rule to evaluate numerically the triple integrals of continuous integrands using Romberg accelerating method depending on correction terms which we found . We determined that the combined method of Romberg accelerating method on resulting values came from applying Mid-point rule on the outer dimension z and Simpson’s rule on the middle and inner dimensions y , x where number of subintervals to which the interval of integral on the inner dimension equal to that number of subintervals of interval of middle dimension and equal to the number of subintervals of outer dimension (i.e ) where , and are respectively distances between ordinates of – axis, – axis and – axis, we call them on which we can depend to reach solution of higher accuracy.

With the development of information technology, people have paid more and more attention on the information security today. Information hiding research has become the focus of the information security research. Because every web sites and networks communication depend on the multimedia, such as audio, video, image and so on.
Information hiding technology can embed secret information in to a digital media source without impairing the perceptual quality of the source. Steganography could informally be defined as the “ cover writing”, where it means concealing a message that is the object of the communication. Steganography has its place in security, and is not intended to replace cryptography but to supplemented it.
In this research a new simple approach for active Steganography is presented that can successfully resist recent blind stegoanalysis methods. A proposed method based on embedding data in a randomized manner. The randomization done by used pseudo random generation depending on Linear Feed-back Shift register (LFSR) and Non-Linear Feed-back Shift Register (NLFSR). The proposed method divided the cover image in to blocks then used first generation with ( LFSR) to determine the blocks and these arrangement used in embedding process. This represent the first randomization. In each block second randomly generation ( NLFSR) apply to determine the pixels and these arrangement using in embedding process. The randomization and don’t used all pixels makes the distortion in stego-image very little that’s provide strongest against detection and attempts of stegoanalyst.

Effect of natural disinfecting solutions on the wettability of silicone rubber impression materials.

Back ground: There is growing concern about the issue of cross-infection in dental clinics and laboratories. There are many methods of disinfection for impression material; but these conventional strategies present several disadvantages.
Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of natural disinfection on the wettability of some silicone impression materials by contact angle registration of the gypsum slurry on flat surfaces of the impressions.
Materials and methods: Zetaplus putty and Oromamax light with two types of natural disinfecting solutions lemon juice and apple vinegar for three disinfecting times were used in this study. Two treatment regimes were investigated: The first group of impression materials specimens was exposed to saliva for 5 minutes (control group). Second group of specimens was exposed to saliva then to disinfectant agents (experimental groups), a computerized photographic procedure was used to measure the wettability of the specimens. Statistical analysis was performed by using t-est at p<0.05.
Results: Data indicated that Oromamax light recorded lower mean contact angles than the Zetaplus putty silicone used in this study regarding all tested groups. The disinfection of Oromamax light in lemon juice produced insignificant increase in the mean contact angle measurements at all disinfection times. Disinfection of Zetaplus putty in lemon juice produced a significant increase of the mean values at 10 and 15 min. disinfection times, while produced insignificant differences regarding 5 min. disinfection time when compared with the control group. The disinfection of Oromamax light in apple vinegar produced significant decrease in the mean contact angle measurements at all disinfection times. Disinfection of Zetaplus putty in apple vinegar produced a insignificant differences of the mean values at all disinfection times.
Conclusion: Immersion disinfection of silicone impressions materials in natural apple vinegar is recommended in preference to maintain wettability of silicone rubber impression materials for short disinfection time as well as improve the wettability when used the apple vinegar with Oromamax light. While the natural lemon juice solution may adversely affect the wettability, especially when used for 10, 15 min immersion to disinfect the putty silicon impression material.

Role of LPS extracted from Klebsiella pneumoniae in humoral immune response in rabbits

Twenty five pyuria patients were diagnosed. They were associated with K. pneumoniae . LPS was extracted from this bacteria and intramuscular injected in the tested rabbits.The immune status was observed at the end of immunization period after four successive doses of LPS for four weeks and we found this antigen stimulate specific systemic and mucosal humoral antibody titers as well as to the significant increased (p ≤ 0.05) in the total protein concentrations at serum and mucosal secretions in tested rabbits, in addition to the significant increased (p ≤ 0.05) in the concentrations of IgG, IgA, IgM, C3 and C4 at rabbits sera , thus K. pneumoniae immunodominant epitope and the LPS antigen or toxin extracted from this bacteria induced the T independent immune response then stimulation of humoral immune responses at both systemic and mucosal levels in rabbits .

Cluster analysis of some ecological properties in Al-Rustamiyah wastewater treatment plant 3rd expansion at Baghdad city, Iraq through (2006-2011)

The present study aimed to evaluate performance efficiency of Al-Rustamiyah wastewater treatment plant (3rd expansion) in terms of effluent quality at Baghdad city using cluster analysis. The plant designed to serve 1500000 individual and it is operating on biological treatment method (Activated Sludge Process) with an average wastewater inflow of 300MLD. Wastewater data were collected yearly from 2006 to 2011 by Mayoralty of Baghdad from the influent and effluent in Al-Rustamiyah wastewater treatment plant for major water quality parameters, such as biological oxygen demand (BOD5), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total suspended solids (TSS) and pH over a period of six years. Water samples were analyzed in the central laboratory of Al-Rustamiyah wastewater treatment plant. Performance efficiency of the plant has been estimated for each year. Multivariate statistical technique of the data has been attempted by applying cluster analysis using Statistical Package for Social Sciences. The result reveals that the overall performance of the existing was satisfactory. Cluster analysis shows that years (2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011) indicate a good level of treatment compared to that of 2006 and 2010. Final effluent quality (in term of mean value of six years) does not meet the stringent regulations proposed by the Iraqi National Standards set by the Regulation 25 of 1967.The BOD5/COD ratio of the influent was calculated as 0.46 in total wastewaters.

Contour Maps and Evaluation of Groundwater Quality in Karbala Region

In the current study, the contour maps of contaminants parameters distribution and the analysis of the chemical quality of groundwater in the Karbala region have been carried out to evaluate the suitability of water for drinking and irrigation purposes. The study based on the observed groundwater data of 155 unconfined wells represented the area. These data have been analyzed and contoured for the hydrogen ion concentration (PH), the concentrations of the major cations Na+, Ca+2, Mg+2,K+and the anions SO4-2, Cl-, HCO3-, NO3-, the electrical conductivity (EC), the total dissolved solids (TDS) and the total hardness (TH), and they are compared with WHO and Iraqi standards. Only 140 wells were used for contour maps calibration and the remainder 15 wells were used for verification. The results showed good correlation between the observed and estimated data. The water quality index (WQI) was used to evaluate the groundwater for drinking uses. Based on WQI, it is found that 58.7% of the Karbala groundwater is unsuitable for drinking uses. The assessments were also achieved for the important constituents’ parameters affecting the water quality for irrigation such as the sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), the sodium percent (% Na), the permeability index (PI) and the magnesium hazard (MH). A correlation matrix was built to evaluate the degree of correlation between any two chemical parameters. Two methods were applied to evaluate the suitability of Karbala groundwater data for irrigation purposes. The first one is the US salinity diagram (1954) and the second one is the Wilcox classification diagram (1955). Based on USSD, 58.7% of the Karbala groundwater data are classified as (very high salinity hazard – medium sodium (alkali) hazard) (C4-S2). Depending on the WCD, 73.5% of the Karbala groundwater data are found unsuitable for irrigation. According to the mean value of PI and MH, the Karbala groundwater data are found permissible for irrigation purposes.

DNA Sequences Similarity Using Dynamic Programming

A DNA sequence is a representation of the genetic code contained within an organism. Molecular biology researchers have great need to compare portions of DNA sequences. The aim of this paper is to find the similarity between the DNA of human and other animals., Dynamic Programming and Dot Plot used to show the result. The relationship between edit distance and string alignment (with prevision for DNA sequence alignment) is demonstrated. The results show that the Dynamic Programming have great facilities to get the similarity between DNA sequences compared with Dot Plot method .

Using 2-Dimension Transformations as Artistic Tools for Designing Geometrical Islamic Ornamentation

Isolation & Identification of Bacteria Causes Otitis Media in Children, Study the Resistance to Antimicrobials and The Effect of Cerumen and Xylitol on Selected Isolated Bacteria.

In this study Isolated Pathogenic bacteria which causes Otitis Media in Children with ages between 3-17 years. They are admitted to Central Children Hospital (Al-Karch) and Ebn-Albalady Hospital (Al-Rusafa). 274 cases were collected which include 144 Male and 130 Female. The result of the recent study shows that the isolation percentage was 40% from Male and 31% from Female. In this study Eighty eight isolated were Identified, 39 Isolates were Pseudomonas aeruginosa, formed (44%) from all isolated.17 Isolates were Streptococcus pneumoniae formed (20%). 9 isolates were Proteus mirabilis formed (10%). The number of Moraxella catarrhalis was 8 formed (9%), the number of Haemophilus influenzae was 7 formed (8%).Whereas the number of Staphylococcus aureus was 5 formed (6%). Finally 2 isolates of Proteus vulgaris formed (2%).
The Antimicrobial Susceptility test to commonly used Antimicrobial shows that the most isolate Bacteria were sensitive to Antimicrobial ( AML, AMP, E, GM, S, and T ) and Resistance to ( CX and C ) with some exception. The Antimicrobial Susceptility test of Staphylococcus aureus to Oxacillin showed the predominant of Oxacillin-Sensitive S. aureus (OSSA) which form 70% whereas the percentage of Oxacillin -Resistant S. aureus (ORSA) was 30%.
The Effect of Cerumen on 35 Isolates Shows the Efficiency of Cerumen on almost Isolates were 19 isolates were sensitive to Cerumen which formed (54%), and 16 isolates were resistant to Cerumen which formed (46%).

Effect of nitrogen fertilizer levels on growth, yield, nitrogen use efficiency and its parameters for several bread wheat cultivars

A field experiment was conducted at the experimental farm of Abn Al- Betar secondary school in Al- Husseinia –Karbala province in winter season of 2011-2012. Asplit plot arrangement with Randomized Complete Block Design in three replicates was used. The objective to this experiment was investigate the response of eight wheat cultivars were assigned in the subplots (Al-Tahady, Al-Adnania ,Al-Iraq ,IPA95 ,Ashur ,Sali ,Al-fatehand ,Sham6)to three nitrogen levels (69,138,and207kgN/ha) were assigned in the main plots .
The Results showed that Al-Iraq cultivar with 207 kg/ha gave the highest interaction of nitrogen in straw(2.60%), protein in straw (15.48%) , total uptake of nitrogen (, grain/spike(60.00 grain) harvest index (52.58%), grain yield (6334kg/h). The same cultivars also with(138,207kgN/h)gave the higher rate of 1000 grain weight(53.67,46.66 g) respectively, also Results showed that nitrogen fertilizer of 69 kg/h with Al-Adnania cultivar gave the best interaction in nitrogen use efficiency(48.06, nitrogen harvest efficiency(1.15, nitrogen harvest index(64.00%).and to surpass biomass yield (10611 kgh), grain yield (3317 kgh).

Possibility of culturing Mushroom ( Agaricus bisporus ) in the house garden

Growing mushrooms outdoors as a part of a market garden involves little effort after inoculated the loges or other substrate with mushroom spawn . its necessary to maintain humidity and monitor for fruiting. The present result describs the cultivation of the edible mushroom Agaricus bisporus when we used the straw from dead date-palm trees mixing with spawn containing mycelium in side the black plastic bags ,the production of fruiting bodies were achieved after 42 days,where the production of fruiting bodies were achieved after 47 days after inoculating the spawns through drilling holes in dead trunks.
The present work describs the cultivation of the edible mushroom through March and April in the house so that the mushroom Agaricus bisporus are good choice for iniating mushroom cultivators because it is easier to grow than many of other species and they can be grown on small scale with a moderate initial investment and grow on a wide variety of high cellulose waste materials some of these materials do not require sterilization and pasteurization ,which are less expensive.

Effect of Adding Hemp Fiber on Some Properties of Concrete

This paper aim to study the improve the impact resistance of concrete by using hemp fiber with (1%,1.5%, 2%) as volumetric percentage of cement volume and also by adding 10% of the Iraqi Bauxite as a pozzolanic material as partial replacement by weight of cement. The tests that included in this study had Compressive strength, flexural strength, ultrasonic pulse velocity test and Impact Resistance.
Test results showed that concrete reinforced with hemp fiber and containing bauxite as a pozzolanic material showed increase in low velocity impact resistance with increase around 506% with in age of 90 days.

Effect of water qualities & soil texture on the growth of sweet orange plants that grafted on sour orange stocks.

This experiment was conducted in a private fruit nursery at Babylon Governorate the period from the first of March 2008 until 15- July- 2008 to study the effect of quality of water with three kinds and the soil texture with two types also the interactions.
Sweet Orange plants that grafted on sour orange stocks with 18 monthage were chosenat same size and the height.The land was prepared before planting, the experiment included about 6 treatments with 3 replicates in each.
Results showeda significant differences on studied parameters under the salt stress conditions by irrigated with wells water compare with normal water , The sand loam soil texture was surpass on the silty clay loam with the average of leaf area , the length of vegetative shoots, the fresh and dry weight of the shoots and the average of total chlorophyll in the leaves

Genetic and physiology study of the Thalasemia disease in the province of karbala AL-mukadassa 2006

Study was conducted to investigate epidemiological Althalasmia disease in the province of karbala , the period from December 2006 until December 2007 , where the samples were examined for the General Board of the Children’s Hospital & Al-Hussainy general of Hospital in karbala Al-mukadissa , conducted tests and screening adherence microscopy and contains no blood and biochemical test . The infected of thalassemia , the highest rate in rural areas , where 76.25% and the rate of infected is lower in cities wish a 23.75% and the state of living in relationship with the spread of the disease , where the highest rate of infection in patients who are living their medium with a 62.5% rate of infection and less would be their a very good living with an incidence of 6.25%. The proportion of females over a male , where the ratio is 62.5 in the females while in males 37.5% we also note the differences in incidence for different age groups where the highest rate of injury between the age group 10-20 years with an incidence of 62.5% and a low rate of infection is the age group where over 60 , 3.125%

Effect of addition of Arugula seeds oil to the ration on some immunological and hematological traits of Ross broilers

The research was carried out in the poultry farm – Technical college Al- musaiyib during the period 10/9/2011 until 21/10/2011 – A total of 250 broiler chicks un sexed , one day old were divided randomly into 5 treatments (50 chicks / treatment ) control treatment while T2 to T5 were fed on the control diet which contained 0.5 , 0.75 , 1.0 and 1.25 ml of Arugula seeds oil / kg of feed respectively to investigate the effect of addition Arugula seeds oil to the ration on some immunological and hematological traits of Ross broilers chickens at 42 day .
Results illustrated a high significant effect (P<0.01) on (pcv) for broilers at treatment at the end of the experiment, an increased of (RBC) count with addition of the oil .
A high significant increase of Hb concentration so the treatment which contained the oil at a level of 1.25 ml / kg to record 8.91 gm/100 ml at a high significant effect (0.05) as compared with the control treatment , meanwhile the total leuco cyte count and Heterophil / lymphocyte ration was not affected significantly .
A high significant effect of (P<0.01) of Newcastle Antibody titre at 21and 42 day which was 32 at treatments which contained the Arugula seeds oil at 21 and 42 day as will as a high significant increase (P<0.01) of the antibody titer of coccidian at 21 and 42 days .
It was concluded that addition of Arugula seeds oil led to improvement of immunological and hematological traits which affect the productive performance of broiler projects .

Using the Glazing for Three dates-plam Cultivars and Study the effect Physical and Chemical Properties

This study was to produce glazing dates which gave a thin casing around the date fruit, to get gain glitter and glamour, fit a consumer dates, and have better characteristics than other non-treated dates (without addition). In this study, the used dates were commercially well-know and supplied by the Iraqi Company for Dares Marketing having an ISO certificate, Blue-Blue, AI-Ibrahimi, and AI-Zahdi Cultivars that used in food industries. The dares have been prepared by vaporizing with 1% methyl bromide gas to kill all insects and eggs, separation and purification were made non-good for packing and defected dates, the dates were cleaned, dust and impurities were removed. The dates were washed with cleaned water and dried by air, then treated by 120, 125, and 130° C for 10 minutes, then submerged into sugary solution, 5%glycerol, 20%date syrup, 5%glcerol+20% date syrup, and 5% glcerol+20% liquid sugar, after that, the dates were packed into plastic containers covered by polyethylene (200g weight) to keep it against changes. Finally, the physical and chemical properties were studied and compared with control treatment (with addition).

Preparation of Cademium(II) Complexes with Azomethine-Azo Organic Reagents and Study some of Its Spectral and Physical Properties.

Effect of aqueous extracts of plants in a group of bacteria that cause diarrhea

Sensitivity of the bacteria have been studied fo extract boiled and cooled water for five types of plants, plant extracts tea (TheaSinensis) and The baker (Malvapazvifloza) and the plant extract is amixture of the last three plants are (Nigella staiva) , (Allium staivum) and (citrus aurantifolia) . Extracts used boiled and cooled water to plants when you concentration (250 , 500 , 1000 ) mg / ml . The disk diffusion method used saturated with plant extracts according to the method to test the sensitivity of bacteria (E.coli , salmonella , shigella) . that cause diarrhea for different age groups has been observed that the aqueous extract of mixture(citrus aurantifolia ,Allium staivum , Nigella staiva ) . Has a clear inhibitory effect through inhibition zone diameter in the growth of bacteria studied .

Study of the effect of growth regulator Gebberllin GA3 and liquid organic fertilizer GROWMAX on some vegetative and flower growth characteristics of Tagetes erecta L.

This study was conducted at Agriculture College/University of Kufa on 2011-2012 seasons to evaluation the effect of growth regulator GA3 and liquid organic fertilizer GROMAX on some growth and flower characteristics of Tagetes erecta L. A factorial experiment (3×3) was designed, first factor included three concentrations of Gibberilic acid (0, 150, and 200) mg.L-1 and second factor included three concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer (0, 2 and 4) ml.L-1 according to Randomized Completely Block Design (R.C.B.D.).
Results showed that, spraying with gibbrellin, liquid organic acid and the interaction between them illustrated significant effect on vegetative, root and flower growth characteristics, the interaction treatment 200 mg.L-1 of gibberellin with 2 and 4 ml.L-1 liquid organic fertilizer because these concentrations did not different significantly in all studies characteristics of plant height, number of side branches, number of leaves, dry weight of shoot, leaf content of total chlorophyll, leaf content of total dissolved carbohydrates, root number, dry weight of root, length of flower stem, number of flower and flower diameter compared with control treatment (without fertilizer) that gave the lowest values in the same characteristics.
