Studying the Effect of Laser Field on the Chemisorption Process for the System H / W (111 )

AbstractIn this paper , a study is presented for the effect of laser field on the chemisorption process for atom adsorbed on solid surface . The mathematical model is based on the Anderson model by using the mean field approximation (MFA) . The laser field characteristics ( the frequency and the field strength ) are incorporated in the treatment , since the frequency is added to the energy levels of the adsorbed atom and the effect of field strength is incorporated throughout the chemisorption functions. The model is applied to the system H / W (111), since the laser field characteristics effects are studied. The role of the AFM-parameter in the determination of weak and strong coupling types is investigated.
