AbstractIn this paper, we present a computerized system to monitor the growth of pests in Iraq by proposing a web based system integrating Google maps with mathematical models to generate simultaneous maps to enable agriculture scientists and farmers to have insight about the growth of pests in their regions. The inverse distance weighting technique used to estimate temperature data of each point locations in the surface. Single sine model is applied to estimate degree days due to its practicality in providing a better predictive capability. The results of the system viewed online on digital maps with a spatial resolution 200km*200km.
