Effect of mental training program to develop dribbling skill in football Experimental Research on Novice Karbala team 2006

AbstractToday football games that occupy the minds of most people, which contain a range of open skills (unknown environment and multiple positions) closed skills (information environment), so the specialists and researchers seeking in creativity pursuing various ways and means to reach the level of the player within the framework of play to the best levels to reach the goals set, and through keep up with what's new in this area, the researcher views to use mental training early with young people to develop an important skill in the game of football dribbling ball associated with most of the other skills like dribbling and kicking or dribbling and passing.
As well as to take advantage of the time where the guidance of the player in how to do mental training to repeat of mental skill, and the number of addition to the rest periods between recurrence and another, and then draw an activist program of skill within the motor track and rhythm and expectation correct motor learning.
Because this method is not used by our trainers in the country the researcher introduction of this variable in training program and tested in the training and development of the skill of rolling dribbling.
Research Aim: - Knowledge mental effect training in the development of dribbling skill on the football game.
Research hypotheses:- There are statistically significant in the development of dribbling skill between the two groups (experimental and control groups) for the experimental group.
