Kerbala University journal of kerbala university 1813-0410 10 0 2014 01 01 The Effect of alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa in fertility of mature white male mice treated with cadimium acetate تأثير المستخلص الكحولى لبذور الحبة السوداء Nigella sativa فى خصوبة ذكور الفئران البيض البالغة المعاملة بخلات الكادميوم . 212 221 91696 EN Journal Article 2014 06 01 The present study aimded to investigate the effect of alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa in minimizing the deleterious effect of cadimium in fertility of mature male mice with the histopathological changes of testes.Results illustrated histopathological changes in the testes of mice which were intraperitonealy injected by 3 and 5 mg/kg B.W.of cadimium acetate, the effect was increased by increased concentration,mean while ,that were treated by cadimium with alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa for both concentration did not show any histopathological changes as compared with the control treatment , and the group which was treated by cadimium led to a significant reduction (p<0.05) in testes weights as compared with the control . In addition, it was noticed that the group treated by cadimium and water extracted Nigella sativa did not show any differences in body and testes weighs for both concentration in comparasion with the control ..Groups which were treated by both concentrations of cadimium caused significant reduction (p<0.05) of sertoli cells in comparasion with that of the control, mean while ,it was noticed that groups treated with cadimium caused significant reduction (p<0.05) in numbers of spermatogonia,spermatocytes and spermatids for both concentrations in comparasion with the control . Groups treated with cadimium and alcoholic extract of Nigella sativa did not show any significant differences(p>0.05) in numbers of sperms for both concentrations as compared with the control. The study indicated that treatment with cadimium caused cessation of spermatogenesis in semineferous tubules due its cytotoxic effect and it causes changes in metabolic processes in cells mean while Nigella sativa had an effect against deleterious and toxic effect which was induced by cadimium which had acurative effect against free radicals formed by cadimium . تهدف الدراسة الحالية لمعرفة دور المستخلص الكحولى للحبة السوداء فى التقليل من التأثيرات السلبية لعنصرالكادميوم على خصوبة ذكور الفئران البيض البالغة والتغيرات النسجية المرضية للخصى لقد اظهرت نتائج الدراسة حدوث تغيرات نسجية مرضية للخصى عند معاملة الفئران بجرعة مقدارها 3 و 5 ملغم/كغم من وزن الجسم من خلات الكادميوم عبر غشاء البريتون فقد ازداد التأ ثير بزيادة التراكيز، أما المجاميع المعاملة بالكادميوم والمداخلة مع المستخلص الكحولى للحبة السوداء ولكلا التركيزين فلم تظهرأية تغيرات نسجية مرضية مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطره وأدت المعاملة با لكادميوم حدوث انخفاضا معنوياً ( 05. 0 > p) فى وزن الجسم ولكلا التركيزين فى حين سببت المعاملة انخفاضا معنويا عالٍ <0.05) P) فى وزن الخصى مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة كما أن المجاميع المعاملة بالكادميوم والمداخلة مع المستخلص الكحولى للحبة السوداء فأنها لم تظهر اى فروقات معنوية فى أوزان الجسم والخصى ولكلا التركيزين مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة.أما التغيرات الحاصلة فى أعداد خلايا الانطاف فقد أدت المعاملة بالكادميوم ولكلا التركيزين الى حدوث انخفاضا معنوياً <0.05) P) فى أعداد خلايا سرتولى مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة فى حين سببت المعاملة بالكادميوم الى حدوث انخفاضا معنويا عالٍ <0.05) P) فى أعداد سليفات النطف والخلايا النطفية وارومات النطف ولكلا التركيزين مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة كما أن المجاميع المعاملة بالكادميوم والمداخلة مع المستخلص الكحولى للحبة السوداء فلم تظهر فروقات معنوية <0.05) P) فى أعداد خلايا الانطاف ولكلا التركيزين مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة . يتضح من الدراسة أن المعاملة بالكادميوم ادت الى توقف فى عملية تكوين الانطاف فى معظم النبيبات المنوية اذ أنها مادة سامة خلوية وتعمل على تغيير العمليات الايضية داخل الخلايا أما الحبة السوداء لقد كان لها تاثيرا مضادا للأذى التخريبى والسمى الذى احدثة الكادميوم اذ كان لها اثر علاجى فاعل ومضاد للعديد من الجذور الحرة التى كونها الكادميوم . https://kj.uokerbala.edu.iq/article_91696_fea9a4073f8649dfa0d55f54c200b6c6.pdf
