Kerbala University journal of kerbala university 1813-0410 10 0 2014 01 01 Genetic analysis and performance evaluation of broiler breeders cockerels according to productive and carcass traits in progeny التحليل الوراثي وتقييم الأداء لذكور أمهات فروج اللحم لعدد من الصفات الانتاجية وصفات الذبيحة للابناء الناتجة 169 176 91692 EN Journal Article 2014 06 01 This study was conducted in poultry research station in animal resources department/ State Board of Agricultural Research/ Ministry of Agriculture for the period from 18/7/2011 until 25/10/2011 on 140 broiler breeder males and females of Ross by 9 females for every male, as well as to the strain Arbor Acres, The first treatment contained Arbor Acres males with Arbor Acres females, second treatment contained Arbor Acres males and Ross females, third treatment contained Ross male and Arbor Acres female, fourth treatment was contained Ross males and females. This study was conducted in order to conducting genetic analysis (calculating of general and specific ability, maternal effects and sex linkages, heterosis in addition to breeding values, and to evaluate broiler breeder males performances of Arbor Acres males and Ross and its combination according to certain productive traits of the resulting offspring (weight and length of hatching chicks and weight at 3, 4, 5 and 6 weeks), and carcass traits (carcass weight and percentages of abdominal fat, dressing, drum sticks, thigh, chest, wings, back and neck) within local environment of Iraq. The results indicated that there are significant differences in the weights characteristics of male (but not females) at different ages among genotypes, as well as existence of differences among genotypes in carcass characteristics, and the most important is breast percentage. As well as the results showed existence of significant differences in non-additives values of many traits, results indicate existence of a genetic variation in breeding values among rooster’s traits. أجريت هذه الدراسة في محطة أبحاث الطيور الداجنة التابعة لقسم بحوث الثروة الحيوانية/ الهيئة العامة للبحوث الزراعية/ وزارة الزراعة للمدة من 18/7/2011 لغاية 25/10/2011 على 140 ديكاً و ودجاجة لسلالة روص (Ross) بواقع 9 اناث لكل ذكر في الحجرة الواحدة، وكذلك لسلالة اربرأكرز (Arbor Acres) بحيث كانت المعاملة الاولى تحتوي على ذكور اربرأكرز مع أناثها فيما كانت المعاملة الثانية تحتوي على ذكور نوع اربرأكرز واناث نوع روص وكانت المعاملة الثالثة تحتوي على ذكور نوع روص وأناث نوع اربرأكرز أما المعاملة الرابعة فكانت تحتوي على ذكور روص مع أناث روص. أجريت هذه الدراسة لتهدف الى إجراء التحليل الوراثي (حساب قدرة التوافق العامة والخاصة والأثر الأمومي وقوة الهجين إضافة الى حساب القيم التربوية) وتقييم الأداء لذكور أمهات فروج اللحم الأربرأكرز والروص وتوليفاتهما اعتمادا على عدد من الصفات الانتاجية لقطعان الأبناء الناتجة (الوزن وطول الأفراخ عند الفقس ووالوزن عند الأعمار 3 و 4 و 5 و 6 أسبوع) وصفات الذبيحة (وزن الذبيحة ونسب التصافي ودهن البطن وعصا الطبال ووصلة الفخذ والصدر والاجنحة والظهر والرقبة) ضمن الظروف المحلية للعراق. أشارت النتائج الى وجود اختلافات معنوية في أوزان الذكور (دون الاناث) عند الاعمار المختلفة بين التراكيب الوراثية, كذلك وجود اختلافات بين التراكيب الوراثية في صفات الذبيحة وأهمها صفة نسبة قطعية الصدر ذات الأهمية الكبيرة. كما بينت النتائج وجود اختلافات حقيقية في قيم التوريث غير التجميعية للعديد من الصفات قيد الاهتمام, كما تم الحصول على نتائج تشير الى وجود تباين وراثي مهم في القيم التربوية للصفات بين الديكة. https://kj.uokerbala.edu.iq/article_91692_1674936208466ff33faf59489fb15d41.pdf
