The protons effect on the nuclear structure of isotones nuclei (180Hf ,182W ,184Os ,186Pt and 188Hg) have been studied using the interacting boson model-1.
The present results have been appeared that the nuclei stay constant on the transition region from SU(3) to O(6) with increase the proton number from (72) in 180Hf nucleus to (80) in 188Hg nucleus which refer no effect of increasing protons in isotones nuclei .
The calculated energy spectra and the properties of electric transition ratios are in reasonable agreement with experimental data.
The potential energy surface for isotones nuclei have been studied using the IBMP–code where the isometric potential lines are plotted to explain the deformations forms of these nuclei
