The Study involved twenty healthy adult white rabbit males (Lepus arcticus ). The average weight (1.36-1.54) k.g and age ( 6-8 ) months old . The rabbits ware divided to two groups . The first group was involved (10) rabbit that treated with alcoholic extract of the Nigella Sativa seeds (6 ) ml subcutaneously, the second group was involved (10) rabbits as control group which treated with distteld water . The study aimed to determine the effect of Nigella Sativa extract on some blood , parameters level of Testosterone hormone , sperm count and level of some Ions such as sodium , potassium, chloride , phosphorates and calcium . And study the histological structure on the testis and mean diameter in seminiferous tubules , spermatogonia , primary spermatocytes , spermatozoa .
The result of the present study showed :
1- Significant increase (P> 0.05) in mean levels of testosterone hormone , sperm count and levels of sodium, potassium, chloride, phosphorus and calcium
2- Significant increase (P> 0.05) in mean diameter of seminiferous tubules , spermatogonia ,primary spermatocytes and spermatozoa .
